Sunflower 'Russian Giant' - Kew Flowerhouse Seed Collection

A mammoth sunflower which towers above all others and is perfect for sunflower growing competitions - wowing kids and adults alike. Sunflower ‘Russian Giant’ bears dinner-plate sized blooms up to 30cm in diameter. A great wildlife plant, providing a feast of nectar for bees and nutritious seeds for birds. It also makes a useful, quick growing screen to section off parts of the veg plot or disguise ugly features. The huge yellow flowers with dark centres make a spectacular centrepiece in a vase.
